Volunteer Opportunites

  • Team Parents

We value creating fun, team building activities and events for our students, and we need your help! Please email Clara at clara@broofieldstem.org if you’d be willing to help plan and implement a social activity for your student’s team such as a trunk for Trunk-or-Treat or a post-competition or holiday celebration. All of the mentors are volunteers, so your help with special events takes some of this important work off of mentors’ plates so they can focus on their students.

  • Team Coordinators

Team Coordinators are non-technical mentors whose primary focus is on keeping their team organized and running smoothly. Working closely with the Program Director and other mentors, our coordinators manage the team calendar, schedule, budget and roster, and are responsible for coordinating team logistics and communicating them with students and parents. Team Coordinators do not need technical expertise, but should have strong organizational skills and experience with the Google Suite, including Gmail, Google Drive, etc.

  • FIRST Tournament Volunteers

This is the job for you if you can only volunteer once or twice a year! FIRST tournaments rely on adult volunteers to run smoothly and fairly. The Broomfield Robotics Club will be competing at one FLL tournament at CU Denver on November 11th, and will be hosting the FTC tournament on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Regis University. Please consider volunteering at one or both of these events to support our teams. More information can be found at https://www.firstinspires.org/ways-to-help/volunteer/event-volunteers or by emailing Jamie for more information.
